A.F.I.R.E. of Pasco County is a local non-profit adult day training facility serving the developmentally and intellectually delayed community.
Here at A.F.I.R.E., every day is a day that matters! With a focus on independence, safety, and social skills, our students are guided through the day by our dedicated instructors who assist them in achieving their goals.
Our "developing independence" program allows our students to rotate throughout different classrooms and teachers each day, focusing on goal-oriented education while encouraging independence throughout the day! We accept students on the waiver at a 1:10, 1:5, and 1:3 ratio!
We have a program designed specifically for students who receive behavior services. This program is led by our Behavioral Director who has more than a decade of experience in Behavior Focused Classrooms.
We accept students with behavior services at a 1:10, 1:5, and 1:3 ratio
We have a program dedicated to our students with specific exceptional needs such as toileting, feeding, and safety assistance, These students have assigned dedicated staff who are highly trained in the skill sets required to assist these students effectively and efficiently.
We accept students who are not on the waiver starting at the age of 18. Tuition is to be discussed based on the individual's needs.
We proudly provide transportation door to door for our students both on the waiver and that pay privately. We currently provide transportation to residents in Pasco County, North Pinellas County, and Southern Hernando County.
